I literally just got done typing your name in lol. As far as your question, no you cant "apply" I have to just find a persons content that I feel is helping in some way (yours obviously did) and then i vote. I try to do one vote for each type of content 1. interaction 2 crypto related 3 general help 4 art 5 poetry/blog etc and or anything else that I just feel is helping us here on steemit.
