It's been raining all week in Southern California!!
Rainfall has been hard to come by in these parts the last few years, so this recent dose of rain was much welcomed! However, for surfers the rain is a bit tough and always presents a bit of a conundrum, especially in a huge city like Los Angeles. 11M peoples waste goes straight out into the ocean, making the water dirty and unsafe to swim in.
Along with the rain, this week brought us some much-needed swell - it's been flat for weeks, so some waves above chest high were a sight to behold!! Rain + waves....what to do?
Despite all the warnings in regards to the dirty waters and high bacteria levels, the Bay Street squad had to go get it!! And this time it was the ladies leading the way! Here's two of our girl surfers, Romina Sojli and Moira Mainardi, showing us that surfing is an all day every day activity - rain or shine, they are out there having a blast and shredding the waves!!!
looks fun guys
