Who are these people? Why are they so obsessed with these ocean waves? What draws them to drop everything just be again with the waves of the ocean?
What is it about those who are in the constant search for just one more wave and if they don't get that feeling soon, portions of them will crack into a state of depression. What do they know and what have they experienced that the rest have not? Are we missing the point? Have they found the elixir to the better life? How to become one of them and to harness the feeling that only a surfer knows?

Is it late? Are there more waves coming that can help me find and fill the void? Is there room for me out on these coastal waterways? Are these beings, will they be friends of foes in my personal pursuit to find happiness that they all seem to shine forth after just experiencing the ride?
