Agadir Open surf and bodyboard: Moroccans dominate the competition

On the spot known worldwide surfers site Imouran in the heart of Taghazout station, a huge crowd of enthusiasts of the sport came to follow the final day of this Grand Prix.

On their own land, or more properly on their own waves, Moroccan riders are often the best. They have just confirmed this gives once again to Agadir where they have been fully at the rendezvous of the Grand Prix Open surf and bodyboard practicing an overwhelming dominance over the final stages.

Nearly 150 competitors of several nationalities took part in the 2018 edition of this competition organized by the association Imouran surfing under the aegis of the Royal Moroccan Federation of surfing and bodyboarding.

On the spot known worldwide surfers site Imouran in the heart of Taghazout station, a huge crowd of enthusiasts of the sport came to follow the final day of this Grand Prix. The public was treated to the highly developed maneuvers of riders on waves often exceptional in favor of a somewhat strong wind. In terms of surfing competition, Chadi Lahrioui took first place, followed respectively by Soufian Charroub, Redouane Regragui and Jade Azami. In the same category, in the women's category, it was Lilias Tebbas who dominated the debates pawing the pawn to the former champion of the previous edition, Meryem El Guerdoum, while Fatima-Zahra Berrada and Soukaina Aghouali won the third and fourth place.

In the bodyboard category, Adnane Benslimane took the top of the podium in front of the French champion Pierre Louis. Abderrahmane Berrouan was third in front of Abdennabi Maachou.
