My opinion on them is its better they are banned! I live in Ireland and guns aren't legal except for specific purposes like hunting.
We still have gun crime but it's all gang related.
I do believe mass shootings would not happen if guns were illegal as the people that carry out these mass shooting wouldn't have access to arms
