Juice Plus Tower Garden

An aeroponic vertical garden system was designed by Tim Blank. The Tower Garden, by Juice Plus. This is seen, by some, to be the future of gardening. You can put it nearly anywhere, and sustainable living is the purpose of its creation. There is a nutrient-rich mineral blend that can be added to the water to contribute to allowing pH-balanced, stimulated plants to thrive, in the comfort of your yard or home!

The plants can grow in half the time of traditional soil-based gardens. They also produce a higher quality of organic food, while also being readily available. It is self watering, and the tallest towers can house up to a whopping 44 plants, free of soil, weeds and pests. This is a good investment for someone who may feel they do not HAVE the option of growing their own food. It only takes up 2.5 x 2.5 square feet of space :O

We could have these in restaurants, in classrooms, in hospitals, and just about anywhere else! These towers can save money for a lot of us, as well as energy! You don't really have to have a green thumb to run one of these in your home. Fresh vegetables can be grown anywhere, even throughout the winter months! How amazing is that?!

This product can greatly reduce one's carbon footprint, as well. It uses 95% less water than traditional farming, as well as 90% less land, being a vertical tower system and all. The plastic it is made from is FDA approved food grade plastic, free of harmful contributors in most agricultural plastics. There is no soil used in growing the plants, so the cost is significantly lower, as well as disposal issues. The system recycles 100% of the water and nutrients. They are designed with the intention of using them for decades to come. What a wonderful use of technology!

This company aims to prevent short term disposable goods, in consumption of resources. It has AMAZING potential of creating significantly healthier communities. Just ONE acre of tower gardens can produce around 250,000 plants, and CONSCIOUSLY, for that matter!!! They can generate 30% more than a traditional garden with a soil-based method. We could feed our families, our friends, and even the homeless!! Food could exist in places where the land does not support it's growth. It could also mean that we don't have to ship so much from other countries. We are empowered in so many ways with this technology!

This product can help to green our economy! It improves an existing solution we have had for centuries, but it also facilitates a greener way of living, doing business, and using services. We could save a lot of water and energy for our precious Earth. There is no need for expensive tools needed for traditional gardens. It can be powered on solar panels, and eliminate some strenuous labour in our lives. We can grow food in half the normal amount of time, and bring in more food at the same time! This product DEFINITELY benefits the greater good!

Ahh it also would reduce the carbon footprint in the energy used to harvest, store and transfor the veg. I think this is really revolutionary for city-folks. Id even think about getting one of these for my mom! Also considering the depleated soil that has ariven from monoculture, and the little water it consumes in this ever drier world (especially in our area) are really great benifits.

The only thing I think may be lacking is the soil microbes that nourish the plants and our bodies, and some nice bugs haha, but the benifits are still pretty astrounding so i'd say yea, revolutionary gardening!

I got a question though, cuz I wanna get one for my mom impulsively now haha, how much does it cost? not including plants I guess.

I paid around $1200 for my specific set up. It was about $107/month CAD
I would definitely highly recommend it to anyone who feels they can't go offgrid/grow a garden at home.

I gave you some lovin! How 'bout you give me some too?

not sure what you mean...

still learning about steemit <3

Just FYI, @lovepool is attempting to game the system @inamorata. He posts the exact same thing on every random post thread he finds. If you go to his profile you can read all comments he's made. :)

Also, it looks like two known bots: @iflagtrash and @eatsrewards (they both belong to a very powerful whale which I won't name here, lest its malicious shadow rests upon me) upvote @lovepool's posts... so it's probably also an account belonging to the bot's same owners. Best to ignore... there's some interesting exploitations and hiccups with some of the Steemit system, but overall, it works well for those who play honestly.

Seems weird to just straight out ask for attention in a place like this. Thank you for providing some clarity.

Sure thing, also... probably something else you might wonder about when you cross it (if you don't already know)... is that bandwidth is limited so... if you post a lot of content daily (or comment a lot with photo comments), you'll use up bandwidth. You get a certain alotment based on your Steempower level so those with lower Steempower run out of bandwidth quicker. When you're completely out, it may do wierd things like not let you post and your "reputation" may appear to drop back down to 25. It's not really 25, it's just a weird bandwidth thing so don't let it scare you. The solution to being out of bandwidth is to just take a break for a few hours and your bandwidth level will "recharge."

You can check your own remaining bandwidth by going to steemd.com/@inamorata that site will also tell your posting power and other useful things.

Hmmmm, I've definitely not had an issue with it yet. I've not posted more than twice in a day yet though. Could be why. I intend not to overdo it. Unlike my facebook account. :P I've also never posted a photo comment. Thanks for the heads up!

This also reminds me of that course we both started to take online haha, the one about greening the economy and that assignment. (I never completed it lol, its still in the archives tho!)

This write up was written when I was in that course. I'd like to go through it a second time!!

@skycae next class starts January 15th
