This is an real story about one swedish female. She had severe epilepsy and a brain injury. Her doctor come to the conclusion that she was only able to work parttime. Because her severe epilepsy damaged her hearing, and damaged her shorttime memory, and was constant very tired.
Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) did not agreed about her status, and they trivialized her illness. The woman was in despair about Försäkringskassan did not belive her nor her doctor. She delivered a complain about Försäkringskassan decision. The same year she died after an new seizures during the night, fallen and suffered from oxygen deficiency.
Two months later the Försäkringskassan rejected her complain. The dead woman was capable to work full time.
"The fact that the woman has died does not mean that the workforce is permanently reduced," says Cecilia Udin, National Insurance Coordinator at the Försäkringskassan to the newspaper Aftonbladet.
