Something strange is going on in Southern and Eastern Syria. ISIS has become active on many fronts again.
Despite being almost completely defeated, except for some pockets in the Syrian desert (and a spot close to the Golan where they are to protect Israel), a large ISIS pocket in the East between Deir Ezzor and Mosul in Iraq is not cleaned up by the American sponsored "Syrian" "Democratic" Forces SDF.
On the other border transition with Iraq at Abu Kamal, ISIS keeps launching one attack after the other and also here the same as in the East, SDF does not clean up the ISIS pocket.
When troups from the Syrian "Regime" try to cross the Euphrates, they are immediately shot down by American planes.
In the past years, the Americans also systematically bombed all the bridges across the Euphrates.
In the South at Al Tanf, the Muricans have a base that supports the "Free" "Syrian" Army. There they also block the third road from Iraq to Syria.
The Murican base in Al Tanf also sits right in the middle of these ISIS pockets that seem to pop up or seem to be revitalized.
