Thanks to the United States, drug production in Afghanistan has increased by 45 times

According to the statement of the speaker of the Islamic consultative Assembly (Iranian Parliament), the US and NATO have settled in Afghanistan in 2001, and during that time the annual production of drugs has increased from 200 to 9000 tons, that is actually increased in 45 times! In this regard, the Parliament President urged to pay attention and reflect on a series of false statements made by the West and the United States.Ali Larijani, who arrived in Pakistan to participate in the international conference on terrorism and interregional interaction during the meeting to formulate a joint strategy to combat terrorism in the region, said: "the        Presence in Afghanistan of the coalition headed by the USA is justified by the need to combat terrorism and drug trafficking, however, no tangible progress in this field has not been reached. The situation with drug trafficking in Afghanistan today has only gotten harder... whereas the coalition of Russia, Iran and Turkey, were able for much a shorter period to eliminate in Syria, the group IG (banned in Russia — approx. ed.).Chairman of the Iranian Parliament also recalled that the United States considers Iran a major threat in the region, although in fact Iran "is in the forefront of countries opposing terrorism and extremism". "Recently the US has shown some pieces of iron and declared that it was the wreckage of Iranian missiles, which Iran allegedly provided informed Yemen. Although Iran has no missiles to Yemen was not given... But even if it were given, he would not have any motive to do it secretly," continued Larijani. In the course of work of the antiterrorist forum Larijani also said: "When the people of Afghanistan saw their wedding ceremony ended with the American bombing, and the fun ended with mourning, or when the people of Iraq are daily witnessed during the US occupation of different things that offend their national and religious feelings, these feelings do not allow them to be silent or just be indifferent observers. On the contrary, they saw no other way but to wage against (American) occupation of a decisive struggle".The Chairman of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic, is also taking part in the deliberations during the forum meeting of heads of parliamentary delegations of Iran, Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Russia and Turkey, criticized the recently released "new national strategy of the United States" and, in particular, said: "In this document sometimes there are some strange comments that require further clarification. For example, in the part containing insights, it is argued that, say, the United States and its allies completely destroyed the forces of ISIS and al-Qaeda (banned terrorist organizations — approx.ed.) in Iraq and Syria. In fact the US and allies over the many years of its presence in the region in the best case just "woke" the appearance of terrorist and extremist groups. But most likely, they just didn't sleep, but on the contrary, they themselves deliberately created in those countries of the middle East the explosive situation. And in the end the problem had to be solved by the efforts of Iran and Russia, while the USA, playing in the victory over terrorism absolutely no role, openly attributed to himself the merit of others"."In another part of this paper argues that established American coalition waging a struggle against criminal organizations involved in drug trafficking," said Larijani. It is suggested to analyze the situation in Afghanistan. The Americans and their NATO allies, as noted by the Chairman of the Majlis of Iran, came there and settled in Afghanistan in 2001. And at the same time, drug production in the country increased from 200 to 9000 tons annually. That is, the US is waging a strong fight against drug trafficking, but they also create the causes for repeated production growth (45 times!) in this crime area. Hence, either the authors of the document wishful thinking, or outright lie, when you write that the United States actively oppose the drug trade and drug trafficking, concluded Larijani. The Chairman of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic also drew attention to the fact that in the US strategy we are talking about the efforts to combat global spread of weapons of mass destruction. However, at the same time, no country in the world has as many weapons as the United States itself. This is another mystery of this "document", which would be good to ask the drafters. The speaker of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the conference on terrorism spoke with the head of the Russian delegation, the speaker of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin. During the conversation, both admitted effective cooperation to strengthen regional security and praised the joint activities on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic. "After meeting in Sochi peaceful dialogue in Syria is becoming more open, and although the EU are trying to redirect the negotiation process in Geneva area, however, I do not think that the Geneva talks will lead to some results. In the Geneva dialogue involved too much effort, which actually is not interested in a political settlement," said Larijani. Thus, in his opinion, the talks in Astana are able to do so much more good if their goal really is peaceful settlement. However, according to him, Russia and Iran should expand their political cooperation. And it's really important, if you look at the situation around Raqqa, which acted Americans. Presence the U.S. has had an enormous destructive effect, and will have a negative impact on the future of Syria.

It is big money to stay in perpetual war and big pharma would have to account for creating HUNDRANDS OF THOUSANDS of addicts from their 'Medications' if we didn't have a buggy man to point at and actually fought a war on drugs. The Armys mentality toward destoying the opium fields was always negative and politically motivated.
I feel bad for the troops who still believe it.
