In a recent interview on BBC, the American investigative journalist, Seymour Hersh said to the anchor: “I just believe in facts. All I’m saying to you is that there’s no credible American intelligence report that suggests that Bashar Assad dropped chlorine bombs. There’s no such thing.”
It is worth to mention that Hersh was one of the pioneer journalists who suggested that the alleged chemical attack in Eastern Ghouta on 21 August 2013 was not carried out by the Syrian government, rather the Islamist armed groups.
