Takis chips in Canada

I thought these babies only just got released in Canada. I've only recently seen them on the shelves here in my hometown grocery store. I'd just assumed that when I saw them at some of the latin shops I like to frequent that they were specialty orders.

A company based in Toronto have agreed to take on the release of Taki's here across Canada as long as 9 months ago!

Everytime I visit Mexico over the years, I've enjoyed these chips because of all the flavour they put on them. One thing Mexican chips are good for is the chili and cheese flavour. Also, the lime. It seems in alot of instances, these are the main flavour of all their stuff down there. Including body soap, in some places.

The allure of a rolled up tortilla chip is nice. They're really different than alot of other chips you eat.

More satisfying, and filling than a standard chip. Now, I'm not bragging here. But sometimes I'll sit down with a normal bag of chips, and eat the whole thing. The latest bag I picked up has lasted me for a few days, which I'm thinking is a good thing. Or, maybe I've been eating less?

This is a non-paid support of Taki's chips.

If you've never tried them, give them a shot.

The only trouble I see with them, is that they're not too great for dipping in a salsa. Kind of difficult to pick up any chunky stuff with them, unless you go for like the double finger poke and hope for the best.
