It's insane to think that there's some kind of scandal brewing because Oprah -- the black, female BILLIONAIRE -- made actors self-drive to the set of The Color Purple.

Attributing that decision to some kind of racism seems... odd.

Oprah's production didn't have enough money to pay for a car service for a handful of above-the-line players?

Was it Spielberg's fault instead?

I'm guessing there's a more simple explanation. Henson wants more money and her team is putting out PR to add to the pressure. Not sure if it will work, but it's quickly turning obnoxious.
