This is funny! I am used to people pronouncing things differently. It seems to me that there is no such thing as the proper pronunciation for anything. English is my second language. When I try to learn new words or ones that I find difficult it really becomes frustrating. Accents vary literally from town to town and everyone insists that theirs is the right way. Madness.

I am not even sure how I pronounce tarot in English. I can't tell the difference between ah and uh. and in my native langugae, you would pronounce the t at the end. :D
