As usual you can pick 1, 2, 3, or any combo....
@kimmysomelove42 a big bright sunflower from my garden last year to break your picks up
Card 1: Sun Dance: 12 Major Arcana
This card represents a ceremony of letting go of the ego and surrendering the body to the greater energies of the universe. For many tribes, the Sun dance is a ceremony of honoring the Sun and a giving, letting go of self attachments, a death to ego and a humbling of soul journey back to creator. In this picture a young brave is hanging by ropes that are literally attached to his back shoulders, sewn on, a wand in one hand and a feather skewed into the other shoulder. OUCH! This ceremony takes much planning and preparing for the participant, To surrender the ego and body in this ceremony there is a level of pain that is endured as the trigger to let all attachments go. These brave men that hang for days until the skin is ripped away transform their mind/body into pure light energy. There is another deep aspect to this ceremony and that is the relationship and dependency we have with nature. We are dependent on the Sun, the Earth and Plants to survive. Nature does not need us. This is a ceremony to bring that harsh realization that everything that sustains us comes from outside our physical bodies and to feel this compassion brings us to heart congruence and humility.
If you choose this card, chances are you have been through a suffering, release, realization within your ego, that it's time to let some things go already! Humble yourself and give freely from the soul than the ego mind. Honor your connection with what sustains you, for the path to consciousness and freedom may come to you through surrender and a death of habits/patterns that no longer serve your divine awesomeness.
When I pick this card personally, I know it's time for me to get my cauldron or fire pit out and burn some sh*t up!! I like to collect flowers and leaves from my garden dry them and save to burn on certain moon cycles. Sometimes, its a great release to write something down on a piece of paper that you intend to let go of . Make an offering, for your intention and light it on fire, this is a fast way to let go of old energies. Be clear and from the heart. Try it, you might feel a bit lighter in your walk today. When burning anything, it is best outdoors. However, if you are lighting any incense, candles, or fire inside for release purposes, OPEN up a door/window to let the old out and clear a path for new energies to come in.
Card 2: Journey : 6 of Blades
There are many paths to any journey. For Native peoples they traveled via vessels, horse or by foot. Many rivers, lakes, streams were the natural highways. The vessels they made were beautiful hand crafted canoes, boats, rafts etc. For some, there were other types of journeys , including those of the spiritual realm. These visions would come in dreams, astral flying, or premonitions of foreboding conflicts. Sometimes, a vision might come to a chief or maiden that forewarned of an attack, disease, bad weather. Some dreams might show how to avoid war or show new born children. The people would listen to these messages and perhaps seek or act on a new physical journey as a result.
Journeys gain expansion, not only a vacation, but a path back to soul source. I think of the saying, "Go with In or go with Out." This is very important to look at the mental state or journey you are on currently. Picking this card today, perhaps is whispering to you, it is time for a new experience? Set aside some time for the journey, whether it be five minutes a day to ponder the next adventure or to quiet your mind and see what inner journey you may create. This is important time to cut through your inner demons and hop on the cosmic rivers of adventure. Most life adventures, lead to another river or stream, trust that your boat will make it, create it and live it.
Card 3: Kachina Juggler 2 of Shields
This card depicts a Kachina with gourds representing the polarity of yin and yang, the push and pull of the multiverse. The Sun, moon and stars above his head, representing the connection Kachina has to God/Great Spirit. He is like that of Mercury balancing the forces of give and take, the push and pull of life. For every action, there is a re action. Once these are in alignment then great magic and healing can take place, in this place.
Picking this card today is very powerful. With your tools and shields in hand create a balance within your reality. How much time do you spend looking up toward the outer skies? Do you notice that hawk circling you at the same moment you had a thought about a new invention or design? Are you constantly nose down in the work of all things? Take a breather, balance your day. There are subtle hints from the spirit realm in our every day experiences. Open up to these, for perhaps you might hear an answer to some questions you have through the animal or spirit realms. Kachina juggler has come to mess your world up and drop some balancing tests for you this week. Detach, look at both sides to any situation, re-gain, and re-balance. Walking on the Earth with no shoes, laying on the grass, sitting in nature are great ways to gain your magnetic field back in balance and it's free!
