CHILD EDUCATIONAL OBLIGATIONS

Every household must have the desire to realize a sakinah family, mawaddah wa rahmah. So every family member must have a role and run the mandate. The husband as the head of the household should set a good example in carrying out his responsibilities because Allah 'Azza wa Jalla will question it in the Last Day.
This is based on the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam:
كلكم راع, وكلكم مسؤول عن رعيته, والأمير راع, والرجل راع على أهل بيته, والمرأة راعية على بيت زوجها وولده, فكلكم راع, وكلكم مسؤول عن رعيته.
"You are the leader, and you are responsible for the person he leads. An Amir (king) is a leader, a husband is the leader of his family, and wife is also the leader for the house of her husband and her children. You are the leader and you will be held accountable for his leadership. "[1]
Also his words sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam,
إن الله سائل كل راع عما استرعاه أحفظ ذلك أم ضيع? حتى يسأل الرجل عن أهل بيته.
"Allah will ask every leader what he leads. Whether he keeps it or he wastes it, until someone is asked about his family. "[2]
A husband should strive to be a righteous husband, by studying the religious sciences, understanding it and practicing what Allah says 'Azza wa Jalla and His Apostle, and abstaining from any which is forbidden by Allah' Azza wa Jalla and His Apostle. Then he invites and guides the wife to do so too, so that his children will emulate both parents because the nature of the child is likely to imitate what is around him.
Things to consider in educating children, including:
- Educate children in good and patient ways so that they know and love God, who created it and the whole universe, know and love the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, who in himself there is a noble role model, and that they know and understand Islam to be practiced. Teach the Tawheed, which is how to keep God, and keep and forbid the child.
