Tassie is a career driven and hardworking corporate gal by weekdays, and a food frenzy machine during all appropriate meal and snack times- especially during Holidays. The week before her monthly cycle starts, food should fear her. She’s an avid Mukbanger (person who does an eating show) and likes to share her cooking recipes for her viewers.
At 30 years old, she had seen all of her class mates, close friends, family, and even colleagues, propel themselves in to full-on adults who started families, investments, rewarding careers, and passionate successful hobbies. Being single, having no children of her own, and living on her own, Tassie thought long and hard on what she was most passionate and successful at beyond her career? She didn't want a family. She didn't want to settle down. She didn't think rock climbing to the ceiling of a Vertical Endeavors (rock climbing gym) was going to bring her to the next step in her life. Neither would hopping at bars until close, jetting off to another vacation, cracking out on video games while screaming profanities at young children in a great round of Battlefield or zombies shooting game. Or spending hours at the gym staring at the usual crowd of working zombies like her who all drove to the gym just to work out in a building, and neither would owning a gazillion fat and furry dogs while referring to herself as, "MOMMY", would suffice. Tassie wanted to give something to society that would make her proud and happy because she was passionate about it.
She wasn't physically strong, or handy with tools, but she tried volunteering to build houses, anyway. That didn't work out too well considering she gets callouses from holding her hair brush for too long. She couldn't lift heavy things, or read a ruler properly, so they gave her the job of walking around and caulking. She volunteered to save wolves, but didn't know anything about wolves. She volunteered at a triathlon, Linked In to benefit children as an older sister, she took up acrylic painting, furniture building, baking, sewing, photography, snorkeling, writing, volleyball, scrap booking, interior designing, and then she thought she was a master at martial arts. That was a horrible idea. The list went on and on... 30 years is a very long time for a wild and rambunctious adult.
Finally, it dawned on her when her personal trainer put her on a diet, even after she yelled at him that he better not expect her to go on a diet. Tassie's motto in life was to work out just so she could keep eating whatever she wanted. Humans are the only species on Earth who could mix different ingredients to make something amazing in a dish. That knowledge alone made cooking and recipes so complex, endless, and especially delicious! She loved food. She loved food more than most people. She was passionate about food, showing everyone around her the different foods she had found, taking photos of her food, or cooking up her favorite dishes and telling everyone which restaurants to visit (or avoid). It made everyone happy. Above all else, it made Tassie happy. So after 30 years of trying out a hundred different hobbies to find out what Tassie was most passionate about, the simplest and most innate human survival skill: eating, became Tassie's passion.
