Tasty Wok in Budapest

Last week I had a lunch at a place named Wok Go in Budapest. It is located in the Tesco Budaörs center, and it is a delightful place to eat if you want to have food quickly, but still freshly made. While most Chinese restaurants have the food prepared for you for a long time before your arrival, they make it freshly for you in Wok Go.

Here you tell them which ingredients you want to include in your meal, and you will pay per ingredient. Like on the picture, I have eaten one with mushrooms, beef, and lots of other snacks, including my favorite spaghetti.

There are some minuses with the place, as they do not have a "calling system" to tell you when the food is ready. In other words, you have to wait 5-7 minutes, and always be on the alert and pay attention, in case your meal has been prepared. Similar restaurants often have such small gadgets you bring with you, and once the food is finished, it starts to shake and you know that you will get your food.

So, this is a minus, but still - the food, the wok, is so tasty that you will forget about your sorrows once the food is finally served.

One of the hard things about writing Tasteem reviews like this one is that you get so incredibly hungry as you look at the pictures of the food. This is so good, just spicy enough without making it too hot, and just a delightful eat!

If you like wok food, this is a place to visit after doing your Tesco shopping in Budapest!

The food is quite pricy, so what you see on the plate costed around 1600 HUF.
