This is Kundasang Town, twenty minutes drive from Mount Kota Kinabalu Park.
Not many inhabitants here. I ordered some chickens from KFC and we stumbled upon this stall which looked worn down. The picture above.
This the shophouses here. The air here is cool.
The Martabak Jawa stall
This stall is located in front of the Razida restaurant. My wife wanted to try out these Martabak Jawa. I think it's modified from Indian food.
These are what those Martabak Jawa looks like. My wife asked the lady to prepare newly kneeded ones if she had any. The amount of oil used to fry these felt like the Martabak literally swam in cholesterol. Haha.
Martabak Jaw
My wife like this. She asked me to try it out. I was initially skeptical and imagined it to taste like what the stall looked like. However, I was proven wrong. It tasted good enough for me to not put any judgment on the stall.
It is crunchy and inside the filling is mainly veges. Anything that is vegan is fully supported by me.
