This area wasn't that popular long long time ago. Times have changed and it's now full of tourist and numerous stalls now call this special place under the bridge home. It used to be this place where there was this one stall where you could eat durians freshly opened.
The area is fully lit and it feels safe now. So many food to choose from. One of the most famous stalls here is the stall where this couple, in their seventies, fry their carrot cake. Facebook has made them famous.
This is the stall. It sells fried Carrot cakes.
In fact, those carrot cakes aren't really made of carrots. It's made of I think yam and fried with eggs.

It is 8 bucks Malaysian or USD 1.80. Somewhere there. I like the taste of the egg in this particular takeaway.
There are other stalls here and this couple sells freshly made soya bean drinks.
It's a great place to visit and is a must on any trip visits to Kota kinabalu
