A restaurant is a place where you can buy and eat meal, it maybe local or standard/well decorated store - with tables and chairs round it for comfort, when eating and enjoying your meal.

Very yummy in my tummy

I hail from Nigeria, eastern region of the country also known as "ndi-igbo"(meaning Igbo people). In this part of Nigeria, most people from various parts of the country, come to their women to learn more about cooking meals.

So, in any place they have or operates a restaurant, it's always a meeting point of many people, who either comes to eat a meal or have some rest before going home for sleep, every night.

I love this restaurant very well, because it covers all my local delicacy, that sends me into moon with its sweetness, and blesses my soul, actually increases my life spam. When I remember coming to this restaurant, I just can't hold on with further distraction.

[This is my favorite; egusi soup and akpu]

They serves local delicacy like; akpu, egusi soup, oha soup, draw soup, and bitter- leaf soup.

But my favorite, are akpu and egusi soup mixed with oha soup.

I tell you, I don't play with the above set of meal, anytime I went to eat in this restaurant.

It's an open air restaurant, a kind of jungle setting but it beats many international kitchen delicacy, we love the jungle stuff.

Due to the crowd of people that comes to this restaurant, I find it interesting to spend Time there, especially when loneliness is gripping its hand on me, discussing matters of important.

Some of us may not know most of the delicacy/meals mentioned above, but I will be talking about them, one after the other.

Akpu is a cassava flour, the cassava tube is soaked in the water for some days, 5 to 6 days, to be decayed, thereafter, the decayed tube is sieved with a sieve or locally made basket, then the sieved watery flour is taken to the dryer, after the dryer process, it is mole in sizes for easy cooking/churning, after this stage, it proceed to the mortar for proper pounding, after this..... it become ready for eating.. Hard process you will say!.

Egusi soup is also known as melon soup; its a de- coated melon, grinded to powder, it is prepared with these ingredients; crayfish, stockfish, some cubes of maggi, vegetables, pepper, beef or any other meat of your choice, salt, red oil, okpeyi(local maggi), water.

I took time to show all the ingredients needed for the favorite foods I picked in the restaurant, for you to know why the local delicacy is the best for me, than any other foods around the world.

I spend time in the place/restaurant, because it help me fight bad memories, I love eating good foods.

I spend most of my night hours there, although, I just relax myself after taking my meal, sometimes, we argue over some pressing topic with friends, and crack some jokes and laugh out laud with happiness.... what is life without such moments!.

Africa have rich and quality foods than others around the world, just try out our local delicacy, you will use your bare hand to enjoy your meal, no need for forks or spoon, when you cut your akpu with your hand and dip it in the egusi soup mixed with oha soup, then with your fingers you will hold particles of meat and fish in soup, and take the whole thing into your mouth, you will swallow the akpu and chew the particles of meat and fish in your mouth before pushing it down.
