Tawny Frogmouth in the Banana Plantation

What a lucky guy I was to stumble across this gorgeous bird of prey in the middle of the day and it just didn't seen to care I was there (until I went too close). The Tawny Frogmouth (Podargus stigoides) is a species of Frogmouth native to Australia. They are big-headed stocky birds often mistaken for owls due to their nocturnal habits and similar colouring.
