IF you don't know who Walter Burien is, then you just haven't gotten out much.
He has likely been in the struggle for your freedom since before you were born.
His web page is pretty basic, but it contains all the information you need to find out how many years of tax revenue your state, county, city, development/enterprise zone, skools, water districts, and any other gov't subdivision have hidden on the second set of books.
This link will take you to links of the various state's cafrs.
Every gov't body has one, and they all have tax money invested in the stock market, or state fund that does.
Here is his proposal of how to retire the need for any taxes at all.
It uses today's revenue to finance a fund to fund tomorrow's revenue.
You know, like how we have to do it at home.
It will appeal to a wider audience than the absolute truth.
It perpetuates much of the structure we already have.
The absolute truth is that armed men should not be pushing you around irrespective of the rationale.
If you are coexisting peacefully, to interrupt that is a negative act.
If your utopia requires force to come to fruition, it sucks.
Likely you suck, too.
When the first lesson our children learn isn't:
'Do as you are told, or violence.'
Then we may have a chance at peace.
