Favorite thing about the whole Swift/Kelce thing: people who are passionate about something excitedly explaining their passion to new fans. That includes both existing football fans explaining to new football fans why each team has 3 different styles of jerseys as well as existing Swift fans explaining to new Swift fans what the 3 Fearless dresses are. Especially when none of those groups treat what they are teaching as obvious or what they are learning as silly.
Least favorite things: when existing "fans" of either special interest try to shame new fans for not knowing shit, as if they didn't have to learn from someone at some point too (which to be fair I am seeing way more of from NFL "fans" but not exclusively), or when existing fans are shamed for actually taking the time to answer basic questions. (The number of times I have heard the "no dumb questions" segment on the Kelce podcast called "mansplaining" by Swift fans is mind-boggling).
