A 26-year-old teacher at St. Augustine High School — who had been suspended with pay since Oct. 20 amid sexual misconduct allegations — turned herself in to authorities Wednesday after a warrant for her arrest was issued by the State Attorney’s Office earlier in the day, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
Virginia Houston Hinckley of Jacksonville was arrested on a second-degree felony charge of unlawful sexual activity with certain minors, according to the Sheriff’s Office. She was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
