Starting a company is easy. To make it successful, well... that's the hard part. So what is the secret sauce? The special ingredient? Undoubtedly it's the people.

Tech is easy, people are difficult

Unless you're building rockets that circle the orbit twice and land back on earth vertically, your tech problem is easy. Most tech problems have already been solved - just find their research.

From pitching the idea, to rallying a team, dealing with people is always the most difficult part, and that's true at any stage.

How do you build a winning team? Find the best people and keep them happy. Here's the recipe:

Network. Surround yourself with valuable people. Start now. They'll join your team tomorrow.
Key hire. Your first hires must be highly skilled. Great talents attract great talents. I call this the talent echo effect.
Transparency. Over-communicate. It's that Simple.
Remove the black sheep. A big ego can hurt collaboration and healthy competition.
Be playful. People are more productive when they're happy and having fun. Be enchanting and attract people who love what they do and have fun while doing it.
Set clear milestones. Set a goal, communicate it clearly, and respect your promises.
