Hi Steemians,
Yesterday I brought to you some oddly customized semi-performance cars that you can see cruising around the streets on any given day in outback Australia, but what happens to those v8 engines when they have seen better days?
You make a coffee table of course...
Solid Jarrah Coffee Table
Half v8 and half solid jarrah, this would make a great addition to any living room around the world. Due to the 200+ kilograms it weighs, shipping can be expensive, but you have to pay for quality right?
Ridiculous Holden Gemini
The infamous Holden Gemini was sold in Australia from the mid 70's to mid eighties and has received somewhat of a cult status in some circles. I have seen plenty of these modified with crazy engines, turbos, supercharges you name it. With a smallish, lightweight chassis I guess they are perfect for the street hooligan to live out his fantasies with.
Where Not To Park
Quite a popular vehicle in Australia is the Holden "SS" Ute. Straight out of the box with a 270kw 6.0 pushrod, great to modify and sound mint. Holden made these in both manual and automatic, and typically you can get some decent power out of them by buying a "cam package" including upgraded intake, exhaust, cam and tune. That will get you somewhere around 450hp at the wheels, depending on you needs. Regardless, only take up a disabled bay if you have a permit and a need to do so.
Regards,
Here's me, I mean someone, laying some rubber for a bit of fun....

That coffee table doesn't look too level which is fine as long as the cups aren't to full. And I hope it's impossible to tip as that's gonna kill someone XD
And whyyyyyyyy do people burn rubber like that I haaaaaaate the smell! XD
