Back In The Game

Hi Steemians,

After a month or so of really struggling to post each day I believe I have got my self organised enough to be able to say what I like to say and still get everything else done in the day.

As you may know buying used cars is what I do on a daily basis, and nothing gets the heart racing like an Aussie V8. For the internationals out there, one may find it hard to believe that in Australia you can buy a 300+hp sedan for 10-15k (having done a few miles). This compares to a high performance BMW or Audi in Europe, although often without the luxury details.

Below is a car a looked at a few weeks ago, but unfortunately another car buyer paid more for it than I could.

The next model up from the above 2010 Holden VE SS is pictured below, and I will try and buy this car today, It's a 2013 Holden Commodore VF SS-V with a 6.0 litre V8 engine.

Both these cars are currently listed on carsales for sale, hence the carsales logos in the photos.

The 2013 Vf SS-V is a great looking car, with plush interior, decent stereo, bluetooth, etc. they also have a suede look dash and door trims which I think is a nice touch. This car is advertised for $28,000 Australian Dollars, which is quite well priced for what it is, although its done nearly 100,000 kilometres now.

In the commercial side of things, there is a nice looking Toyota Hilux that I also have my sights set on, its a 3.0 turbo diesel engine, ever reliable and very popular on the second hand market.

Looks nice in the gunmetal grey, with a front bar and some black wheels to set it off. I will meet the owner shortly, to see if we can make a deal.

Wish me luck!!

Regards,

@gio6
