So I have been slow for the past few weeks in terms activity on Steem. And what a bummer that I have been so, as this is the best time to be active on Steemit. Well, let me rephrase, Any time is the best time to steem, and now so more than ever as of yet.
Why? Well simply because of this..

1 Steem Backed Dollar is worth 5 times more than it's supposed to worth. Which means we are getting more value per post.
Just the other day I was checking on my payouts just to see how much are we getting as opposed to what we are supposed to get. I used one of my later posts that just got a payout as below.

You can see that Author Payout is about $7.16 USD worth of Steem and SBD, split in half in terms of the USD value.

So supposedly, should the price of SBD stays at $1 as designed. We should receive half of $7.16 (which is around $3.58) in both Steem and SBD. So according to the payouts, I should receive 3 dollars plus of Steem and SBD respectively.
However, as you can see I got around $3.58 worth of SBD. Which will make sense if SBD is priced at $1. But at current market price of SBD, I've gotten waay more than that!

And to put it into a Malaysian perspective, I've received almost RM 70 worth of Cryptocurrency!! That's food for 3 days!!! Like holy smoke!!
If you want to get your hands into blogging and be motivated or incentivized for it. Now is the time, this is the platform.
Seize the opportunity and just create something, let people appraise and see what you can achieve. There are no downsides and all the upsides. So just start, don't let anything stop you.

just today, i gave myself a try to withdraw my SBD (to go thru the process)...also noticed that the RM rates of our SBD is not as attractive as last week's.

Yes, sbd and steem price like any other cryptocurrencies, jump up and down all the time. But the beauty is, any money we get is money we'll never get from Facebook and Instagram!
Most likely the price of cryptocurrency will see better colors after cny, because hopefully by then the market has resumed trading. As these things does affect price of steem since steem is still so small in terms of marketcap.. Only 1.2+ billion, and will subject to market influences.

How do you consider the first million users of Facebook? First 10 million? Steem has only less than 800k accounts including bots. Imagine how early we are in this.. We are the fringe lunatics.. The bunch of people that are like the forum dwellers when bitcoin just started.

It is! Facebook at 2 years old is nothing compared to what it is now. What's more it wasn't the first in trying to do what it does. Steemit on the other really is the first.

Ya, first of its kind and it is interesting too! Most of the time I am on Steemit rather on other social media. Even Facebook also experiencing a lot of obstacles but they recovered pretty fast and able to do testing via region (just like Google).
For Steemit, it is still new and there are so many creative schemes coming out from the users. Really lack of energy to follow everything, attention is limited. Nonetheless, that's the fun part, knowing it is somehow limitless.

The 4x of steem price since steemfest is incentive enough for me to go all in on this! What more with the amazing opportunity we are presented with now! Sure a pegged sbd may actually be more helpful in the long term for speculation, but that means no more cheap steem for us!
