Team Malaysia Polo T-Shirt Design Contest

This is my entry for Team Malaysia Polo Tshirt Design Contest.

The moment i saw the contest on myach , the first thing on my mind is .. oh boy i am so screwed. So i didnt think about it and decide to let it pass and give all talented malaysian that is AI expert to have their hand on it.

You see, when it comes to Graphic Design , i know nuts . The only thing i am good at is knowing what is a good and bad design , what makes sense and what dont, what it need to look in order to deliver its message.

So, couple days ago , my wife remind me that i should try it out. that is the moment i knew i am totally, undeniably screwed. But hey, how can i say no to my gorgeous wife.

I had to collect all my courage that i kept in the store room for this one special task, a task that i know its either i am going to make it or break it. All this while my inner voice within me , confidently kept on whispering ........

So i decided to do some research on designing. and yeah baby... i found the solution . You see, when you google the word designing , the adjective for the word is acting in a calculating, deceitful way.

So since it is literally a DESIGN CHALLENGE so i came up with a game plan.

1. I start analyzing everyone so called artwork , while i am impress with the creative work they have put in but none based on the word design challenge was truly designing.

2. I start to notice some for their flaws in the process of their creation

3. Ah haaa... this is where i come in . My work here is show myach a basic design and justify its logical design to ensure value creation to teammalaysia wear rather than just making its look beautiful but without substance and illogical in production.

Dayummmm... That is Designing just like in inception.

So without further Ado, Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls , Children of all ages. Allow me to introduce the masterpiece titled "The Designer"

So here is the justification ;

1. The Malaysia Steemit Logo to be place at the left side of the chest area close to our heart as it represent who we truly are , a proud Malaysian and a proud Steemian.

2. Right below it is our name as in our Username on Steemit , for its easy from other steemian to recognized by its username

3. Right behind on the back shoulder , the word #TeamMalaysia to be place , so to promote the hashtag and to clearly spelled our which country we are from without foreigner to second guess.

4. Below the Team Malaysia hashtag , is an option of design that Myach can choose from and community preferred, but the idea is that these design are based on the icon to promote steemit on its principal design . The current option is UpVote , Resteem and Comment , Optionally icon Write , UpVote and Earn.

5. below this icon , is the Word "Steemit" and its Logo. This to ensure that from the back the steemit brand is feasible.

6. The back design should not go below the waistline as if a person decide to tuck , whole back artwork is seen.

7. The sleeve area, can be left alone for individual customization at local state wide event, it can be printed State Flag, personal branding or group logo to promote individual or group niche.

8. I left the polo t-shirt purposely on plain white to present on the area where key messages should be place on the t-shirt and for better visualization.

9. The design is kept to minimalist concept to ensure messages is clear. In addition to give it a clean look.

10. Polo Cotton T-Shirt chosen as material has limited choice of ways to place it design, unless if it is a Full Body Dye-Sublimation Tshirt that uses microfibre fabric. Hence, ideally based on the choice of material a minimalist design is chosen as complex design would add cost to the production .

WIth the 10 points above, these are my answer to the DESIGN CHALLENGE. Hey , lets be honest about this. I've made it clear that i dont do graphic design work and i am terrible at it compare to all other submission, but it cant be denied that i justify and bring some substance to the design ideas . If none of these is agreeable to you, as least we csn agree that this post is AWESOMEEEEE right? Well, you manage to reach this far. LOL.
