Hello steemians!

Im back again with another post and today i will finally start my series of golf beginner's course. Golf has always been my passion and I am currently working as a touring golf profesionnal. Though I am also able to teach the golf swing and other aspects of golf and i have always wanted to share my knowledge about the intricacies of the golf swing thus i have decided to start on this beginner's course series.
In this series i will be touching a lot about what you need to know about golf, what it takes to play golf, showcase the techniques required to play golf and many more.

#1 Introduction

So basically this post will just cover somewhat of road map of what i am planning with this series.
I will lay down some really basic fundamentals needed to start playing golf and from there i will expand on it one by one on my next episode of the series.
So lets get right into it!

Golf Etiquette
Golf is popular as a Gentlemen's sport in the past and even now. Even when times has changed and we are in the 21st century, proper golf etiquette is still being applied in modern golf. Some might say its sportmanship too.
Golf etiquette comprises of a wide variety of of things like certain actions that would benefit the maintenance of the golf course, speeding up the pace of play or just to be polite when you are in the golf club.
Of course i will be explaining most of common golf etiquette on a different post later on.

Golf equipment
Globally there is no other sport than golf that gives a player the option to use FOURTEEN different clubs in a single game of golf. You have your woods, hybrids, irons and putters! which all of them have their own role and there is a mountain load of varieties in each type to choose from. Searching for the perfect weapon for your game has never been more harder in golf. (✖﹏✖)

Golf Club and Golf courses
Basically the playing field for golf. A golf club usually has golf course beside them but there are cases where the golf club is separated from the course but rarely you can find a club like that. A standard golf course usually have 18 holes to play on. though there are some that are 9 holes or as much as 36 holes.
The golf club also has almost everything you would expect for a club. The usual amenities like a lobby , food & beverages services, shower with changing rooms, some might have pools or tennis courts and others depending on the club itself.

Scoring in Golf
Scoring in golf is really easy to understand. Its basically the number of strokes made against the par of the course.(which most of the time is 72). So the lower the number of strokes made mean you are playing well and vice versa.

Golf swing basics
Although the game of golf is kinda straight forward like you just need to hit a golf ball from a starting point and then get it in the hole with least number of strokes.
But in order to do that you would need certain skills which is broken down to FOUR main departments.

1. Long game
2. Short game
3. Scrambling
4. Putting

Mental Game
Ahh mental game. The hardest game to master when playing golf or any other sport to begin with. Controlling emotion, maximizing focus and a lot more in order to bring out the best game for that day. Most great sportsperson would say that the mental game is the only thing they really struggle on to master.

Health & Fitness
Usually when people think about golf, they would usually picture some old man swinging a golf club and missing the ball or some middle aged guy hitting golf balls to prepare for a weekend social game.
But times has changed and golf now has evolved into more a fitness orientated game. Nowadays you will see all the young players being physically fit and strong so that they can get an edge over the competition.

This will cover most of the topics that i want to present on my upcoming episodes of golf beginner's course.
