5 ways to boost your sale. (For small business)

Earlier last year, our business having trouble of getting the sales, the sales didn't manage to hit the target sales, and it's quite worrying me because I have to pay the rent, staffs salary, and other overhead. So, I asked for my friend advice whom I also called my business mentor.

So he gave me a little advice that could increase my revenue and yes it worked. So these are the few advice.

1. Focus on your target market
he age, place, career, has to be really specific and not general. I need a 'target' otherwise I will waste my marketing money & time on a non-potential target market. If I have a specific target, then my job will be lot easier, the marketing concept, place, poster design will be towards my target.

2. Keep your marketing running
Once you started doing marketing, you never allowed to stop, because marketing is the 'heart' of the business. Doesn't matter if the business is good and pack with orders. But one shall not stop! Even big brands such as KFC & McD has millions of customer, but they never stop promoting their product!

3. Keep in touch with your customer.
Always always always keep in touch with the customer, before, and after they order. When your customer satisfy with your service, they wouldn't mine to contact you again even if your price is more expensive than other shop. It's not a rocket science but every human being wanted to be treated right.

4. Train your salesperson
Train your sales person accordingly, give them proper SOPs, and keep adding a new salesperson. Never try to handle all customer by yourself because eventually you'll got tired and wont able to handle it. The more salesperson you have, the more sales you will get. Give them commission so they wont be hesitate to entertain the customer even in late at night texting!

5. Optimize the social media usage.
We all know that social media has been the most important platform that almost used by anyone. Market you service or product in every platform such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat etc. Pay for the ads, and make a lot of them.

I try every tips that has been given from my mentor and it definitely work! and I still keep doing every bit of the tips and it save my business!

Good that you realise marketing is important. As a matter of fact, if you have marketing running and sales coming in regularly, then only can you build the operations and systems to expand/deepen you funnel.

The size of your business doesn't matter when it comes to Marketing. Your business may offer the best products or services in your industry, but without marketing, none of your potential customers would know about it.

Keep it up, continue to create awareness and it will eventually strengthen your brand.
