Hello steemians,

I keep smiling reminiscing people around us doing daily routines. Sometimes they are thinking and acting like robots right. But, we always gave up the opportunity to help people in trouble. Why? Because we do take things for granted right... right? lol

Then I remembered my former boss (i am ex AIA financial advisor) advice, we are humans bah... So when dealing with humans, they're are many problems arises because the problem between one and the others are not the same. She (my former boss) said that we do not look for a thousand reason NOT to help but find a million ways to help. Keep this in our daily life Bible.

I am sharing very simple recipe for tea break today. Its very easy to make and satisfy my taste bud.

Crunchy Fried Cempedak Fritters

Cempedak is a family of Jackfruit but I don't know it's English name. The smell is strong and the fruit flesh taste very fibrous, creamy and sweet. Young cempedak can be cook as vegetables and taste delicious if cooked with coconut cream.

The recipe and its ingredients :

3 Tbsp plain rice flour
1 Cup Plain Flour
1 Tbsp Butter
1 Egg
A pinch of Tumeric powder for the golden color
A pinch of Salt
Water (I just estimate enough to make a batter)
ohhh... and ripe cempedak about 500 gm

My friend Regia has a tree or two cempedak tree in her village. She gave me two types of cempedak both taste delicious and smell like heaven. Thank you Regia!

Steps

  1. Put everything in a mixing bowl and mix until well combine.

  2. Now add in cempedak.

  3. Heat the oil and start frying until cooked and golden brownish in colour.

  1. Enjoy with your favorite cuppa.
