There are numerous ways people can conduct classes, either through online or normal class. These multiple options ensure that classes can be conducted anywhere and at any time.

Education is the key to success and in the world today, learning can take place in a traditional classroom setting, as well as online. Although these are both methods of educating learners, there are differences that benefit the specific learner. A traditional classroom setting is where learning takes place and the teacher provides face to face instructional learning to students. Students are also able to communicate face to face with the teacher as well as other students in the classroom.

On the other hand, online learning is where courses are taken online, but the teacher and students interact or communicate online. This may take place in a video chat room, virtual learning class, emails, digital telecommunications, and etc. If a student misses a class in the traditional classroom, he or she will be able to ask the teacher or another student face to face for notes or assignments that were missed. Students are also able to ask the teacher for extra assistance when he or she does not comprehend a lesson. However, the students will still have to be able to keep up with new notes and assignments, whereas in an online learning environment, the student can complete assignments at home on their own time but will have a due date. If the student does not understand something, he or she can stop and go over it later or email the teacher to answer questions.

Furthermore, one of the main benefits of online learning is it gives the opportunity for students to choose how they plan their classes and requires pupils to develop time management skills. An e-learner must understand that in order to be successful in this course, they must learn to use their time effectively; prioritizing and organizing every task and relying on weekly plans to actually benefit from a flexible schedule. The main idea of a flexible time table is to allow students to make the very best of their time and not fall into procrastination. Therefore, online learning has its own advantages which makes it better than class learning.

However, it is true due to the modern world nowadays where technology is important, people always prefer to do things online. But when it comes to online learning or people call it e-Learning, the traditional way of learning, which is in class, is better. First of all, why is the traditional way better? People are too dependent on technology nowadays and some of them prefer to communicate online rather than face to face. Due to that, communication becomes one of the most important skills that is needed for youngsters who are looking for jobs. That is where classroom learning comes in. Classroom learning involves a lot of communication between students and teachers, and among students themselves. Through the traditional way of learning, the soft skill of communication would be polished and thus prepares the student for their future.

Teachers’ jobs are not only to teach their students but also to influence them and leave a big impact on each of their students’ lives. This goal is necessary in order to educate children and teenagers to become fine adults in the future. Online learning would not be able to help the teachers to achieve their goals. Whenever their students are having problems, talking online is just not enough. It is important for the students to meet their teachers face to face, to talk and interact with them in the same room to build a bond between teachers and their students. This will be able to make the children more open towards their teachers and comfortable when they have to consult their teachers about anything. This proves how important class learning is. Class learning is not only about teaching and gaining knowledge. It is also about connecting with other people to gain soft skills that will be very helpful in their future careers.

In the end, both class methods have their own pros and cons respectively. It is just a matter of choosing which method for which situation is best for both the students and the teacher. For some, they might prefer online classes more than normal classes. Based on the information gathered, it seems that normal classes have a more positive outcome due to the fact that students can be face to face with the person teaching them.
