Science class gone wrong!

Few months ago my niece, Ciara shared her experience during class, and I would love to share it with my dear Steemian friends.

During Science class, there was a quiz so everyone will be questioned by the teacher on subject that were taught yesterday. The quiz question is to name several types of dangerous drug. Ciara didn’t remember the answer so she tried to cheat by having a quick glance inside the text book as soon as the teacher turned her back. When it comes to her turn to answer, she answered “Kelamin” (a Malay word which means genital parts in English). Everybody in the class laughed hysterically including her teacher. However, she still don’t understand what was so funny with her answer. She ask her friend, then only she understood the reason. She should have answered “Ketamin” instead of “Kelamin”.

In another session of science class, she also got laughed by the class when she questioned her teacher. They were discussing about man genital parts. Her teacher informed that for Muslims, male children as young as 6 years old must be “circumcised” as required by the religion. Then Ciara asked, “Will it grow back after being cut off?”. She thought that the whole thing will be disposed. After having a good laugh, then only the teacher explained to her that the process only involving cutting a small part of the skin at the tip. Only then that she understood what it meant.
