I'm using this really awesome photo of the #teammalaysia CNY gathering because I have FOMO(Fear of Missing Out). If you look very closely at this official group photo taken by @orangila, the official #teammalaysia photographer, I am not inside. But it's okay because I have spent some good time with my friends in our own BBQ event.

It was truly a really packed weekend for me back to back with several events to go to but I can only choose one! All in all, I had around 5 events that were running concurrently which was the 25th February and all at dinner time.

Somedays I wish I can just kage bunshin(clone) myself

But someone have told me that it'll be bad to have more than one zord. Haha. What say you? To be honest, I was also torn in between decisions on which event I should go, the CNY BBQ Party which was planned way before by my friends or the #teammalaysia CNY Gathering. I decided to go for the BBQ party because I have already promised my friends and I was glad that I could be with them for that evening at the BBQ because it has been quite awhile that we had a party together.

Anyways, after church, my friends and I went to NSK hypermarket to buy some BBQ materials & ingredients for the BBQ that we were going to have at night at @sam.hsuu's place.

And here I was setting up the BBQ pit with charcoal while the others were preparing the ingredients we bought.

This is me waiting for the charcoal to burn. Haha, I know some of you may have better ways to start this fella. I used wooden pellet firestarters to start em.

And we're off with the lamb and pork first! Ohhh I loved the lamb especially when u cook em medium. Gotta have a glass of red wine with it.

Trying hard to make my own pita wrap, or whatever you call it. Just wanted to have something wrapping my meat like a burger.

Ohhh, the sad thing was we all forgot to take a group photo. When we were full, @saltytomato was still BBQ-ing for the latecomers while the rest of us were resting at the bench and being social media junkies. Instagramming, facebooking, discording...is that even a word? XD

With my shirt and body smelling like BBQ fumes, I checked my watch to find out that it was only 9.00pm! I straight away texted @joannewong to see if I could crash the #teammalaysia CNY Gathering! She immediately sent me the location to her residence, Setia Sky Residence. A very luxurious condominium where the gathering was held.

This was the view from the suite's balcony. Amazing isn't it?

When I arrived at Setia Sky Residence, I bumped into someone who I've known on Steemit but haven't seen ever since I joined Steemit! The Magnificent @ackhoo! @aaronleang was asking me to guess who she was but I was so blur rushing for the gathering. Along came @happycrazycon, @iamjadeline & her son, Jansen. Definitely a MUST-HAVE group photo!

They were already leaving which left me sad. I hope to catchup with you all in the next gathering or meetup. @aaronleang then led me to the suite where the gathering was held. heart pumping. Upon arriving, I saw a few Steemians had already left. @elizacheng and her daughters had left earlier because it was school day the next day. It was always hard to meet up with her little children. Maybe next time!

I did indeed meet some new faces that I've never met before. Let me see if I can remember them. @nickychu, and @aaronteng. Oh! I also managed to meet @kevinwong for the first time. He came for Big Hug Burger the last time, but I didn't recognize him. Silly me. Also, the STEEMFEST crew that came all the way from India to join our CNY Gathering. @firepower, a witness and his crew members, @shenoy, @sjennon and @varunpinto. (Congratz on your 2000 followers @sjennon).

Because I wasn't in the big group photo, I'm glad I was able to be in this one with so many beautiful people. After that, most of them have left which leaves a few of us who decided to take it to the after party home, @aaronleang & @joannewong's suite.

Everyone was chilling listening to @firepower and his crypto stories and just getting to know one another. @bitrocker2020 then introduced some of our #teammalaysia's talents. A professional pianist , @calebleejl and his wife, @silviagoh & singer songwriter, @michelleloh168.

The night ended with another group photo. Although it was a busy weekend, back to back with events and reaching home at 2am but I feel that these are the memories worth cherishing. With my friends, @macam.yes, @sam.hsuu, @notimetospace, @saltytomato and @nanastraybutt at the BBQ event and definitely #teammalaysia peeps.

Lastly, I want to thank the host of the #teammalaysia CNY Gathering 2018, @aaronleang & @joannewong who have organized a lot behind the scenes to make this gathering a success. Not forgetting @bitrocker2020 and the other committee members, @littlenewthings, @elizacheng, @karinzdailygrind, and @orangila.
