Today is our Slava and my family will gather to celebrate.
This unique family tradition among Serbs is present from the past, before the Christianization and it was related to the cult of ancestors of the family.
In 2014 it was entered in the register of the intangible cultural heritage of Unesco.
Our Slava is dedicated to ascetic female saint, St. Paraskeva, Sveta Petka of the 10th century.
In this beautiful sunny day all my kids will come home to celebrate life and love.
