Currently on the tip of Africa we are suffering with something called 'Winter'.
All people are exposed to this and even though we barely ever get snow (so not as cold as other places) in my books its close to unbearable.

These cold and long nights, caused me to go bed just after 19:00 last night.
Having gone to bed that early meant I woke up at 03:00 and could no longer go back to sleep.

I got up and sat at the kitchen counter , gas heater on full blast, the only source of light.
and starting singing to myself . 'Hello darkness my all friend...'

Since this morning, this song as been looping in my head.

So now I share with you the version that has been playing all morning.

The Sound of Silence - Touch of Class
Touch of Class with Ruhan du Toit and Deon van der Merwe.

Most people prefer the Original, Tom Wilsons remix or Disturbed version. I lean more to the rock, and having chosen this one over Disturbed, I suppose it may require a reason.
Simply put.. Guitar ... riff.

This Tune is so iconic, and often in my discovery of people, I listen to the things that are unsaid.
There are so many people that are unheard, mostly because the words are unsaid.
But some things are shared without saying anything.

Communication is extremely important. Sometimes it may not matter how, just that it does happen.

Let me know what you think, and what your favorite version is...

Until Next Time...

Great song nomination for today @fates many memories of yesteryear.

Thank you!
I have literally been listening to the tune all day.
many different versions of it, but the same tune nonetheless.

Very classical song and Touch of class do a very good version here. I hate the cold, strongs with that. You should escape the cold and come book a holiday here with me on the East Coast. I don't really even have winter clothes. I remember when I was living in Bloemfontein, one evening I started crying so cold it was. I can give very good out of season rates ;-)

Hint Hint!! hehehe, I asked the mister if we can escape, but he through the realistic issue that we have at hand, we both have no leave days left!
But we were in Durban in Feb, and honestly I want to plan a trip to that side at some point! might take you up on that offer someday!

From what my friend in the Capetown area says: Winters there are "beautiful"and not as cold as they can be here in Jerusalem with the cold, wind, and occasional snow falls we can get. Anyway, we are entering Summer and I don't tolerate hot weather any where I would prefer a San Francisco fog than a Jerusalem 'Sharav' (heat wave) any day.

I was in Jerusalem years back , I remember it was in September, and it was the best weather at that point. I'm so sure you are enjoying it right now.

Ahhh, glad to see the tune Tuesday is back :)

Yeah , I'm horrid with consistency at the moment.lol

Lol, you and me both. Well, sometimes life happens eh.
