Today I would like to present Prime Circle, I loved this band back in high school.

They are a South African Rock band that boomed in South Africa in the 2000's, Ross Learmonth is the lead Singer , that truly has an unreal voice, But personally I always lover the drummers, as I feel their minds are wired differently.

I first saw them play on a channel called MK, I think it stood for Musiekkamer, Which if translated into English it would mean "Music Room".

This song meant so much to me, being an adolescent and finally feeling confident in who I was. I got a bursary to go to private school, became Soccer captain and lab assistant.

I knew I had to push my limits then, fighting concepts of how things were against how they could be.
We all have moments of darkness, but this tune has taught me to persevere.
I wanted to conquer the world.. I wanted so many things. Im not giving up.

It made me excited to get out there. Maybe It will do the same for you.

Prime Circle - Hello

Bang your head a bit, put your arms out and spin around, Smile..Live, Cause I just want to shout out loud... Hello!

Yeah, these guys were great! This is a great song as well.

They have been touring Europe alot, Trying to make it international .

Remember hearing this on the radio, it's a lovely song, thanks for sharing @fates

Thanks for the support and visiting!

Their drummer, Dale Schnettler's late dad, Kevin, was in our band in Queenstown many years ago. There was a musical vibe and many national bands had roots in that town before TV came and ruined it all.

Thats so amazing! Tell me of the stories!
Do you have any posts of it? or of your band?
I would love to learn more.

This will give away my age. All I have is a compilation of a video taken some 5 years ago when we got together to "jam". We last playes 30 years ago prior to this. Kevin Schnettler had long since passed away and we missed him. This day had us playing in the lounge of a friend with a "braai" going outside and family there. My two sons' reaction was priceless to me as this was the first time they had heard us. They weren't even born when we started. Here is the link to the post (forgive all the mistakes and the old music!):

Awesomeness doesnt have an age! That was amazing, thank you so so much for that.
I know that it with time, things can get harder, and I can't imagine anything of what you all went through, but I know through music you can truly live, I feel very lucky to have seen that. Thank you for this. I hope that it gets easier for all of you and that there are many more jam sessions in the days to come.

It is always wonderful to know that a song provided solace to a young person in times of darkness. Self acceptance is an important component in ones self esteem. I'm happy this song helped you with that.

Completely agree with you.
At that age, I think music means more to teenagers.
so the messages we are exposed at that age is very important.

It is for that reason that I am bit worried about the kind of music teenagers are listening to today. They are easily influenced. I'm afraid today's music with it's meaningless lyrics is doing more harm than good.

I completely understand. I'm sure our parents felt the same about the music we listen to. In conparasion to theirs.

Hmmm, you make a good point. It's funny how growing up changes you're perspective without you even realising it.

Great song... I'm not familiar with the band but they have a great positive vibe! He sounds a little like Eddie Vedder.

You got some pearl jam vibes there? awesomeness.
