Teardrops: Caterpillars love teardrops

The @teardrops dropped on our garden

Today I share with you the teardrops I have dropped on my garden. Our Cannabis plants are under attack from worms!

I am not new to this problem as I have battled caterpillars for over a decade now! These caterpillars are very preventable but without the money available at the moment to buy the appropriate products to effectively treat our plants, we are left up poop creek! I do get paid tomorrow and will be able to afford the goods! Unfortunately, lots of damage is being done at a rapid pace and all I can do is watch and cut off lots of damaged parts of the plant. The damage is on the very tops which is quite devastating.

The caterpillars are hatching from eggs laid by moths. We have three varieties back here. One variety is really aggressive and keeps laying eggs

While the rain is gone and we are back to dry weather in Las Vegas, my donkey @teardrops started to make it rain when I realized that the battery operated backpack sprayer that we have is missing its charging cable!😖😢😭😭😭😭

So now we must wait until tomorrow when we get paid to buy a couple of $20 products to stop the madness. With no backpack sprayer working we will have to use our 1-quart capacity hand pump sprayers instead of our 4-gallon backpack battery powered sprayer!😞😢😭

Many things to look on the bright side of here:

  • With the floods of my tears, we do not have to water the plants tonight.
  • Although no battery sprayer, we have a hand pump sprayer.
  • These plants were kind of gifts and still salvageable.
  • While there is no money today, tomorrow we will have!
  • I can attempt to create a @teardrops post sharing my tears!

I will share with you a picture of my teardrops and the flood they made today...

Caterpillars really gat love for cannabis, this just reminded me of a new steemian i visited some months ago, who also had the same issue too, but later fumigated the plant, with some chemicals, which i dont know the name, but was able to clear off the pest..
Nice post dude..
