The passing buses,
The unloaded jeepneys,
The closed stores,
The broken bottles,
The irritable passengers,
The empty seats,
The unticking clocks,
And the blurry eyes.
The cold coins,
The trembling knees,
The hoarse voice,
The chased breaths,
With the faked face.
Then there came the stop-overs
that broke the long silence.
So, the brain got paralyzed
and greeted by the unwelcomed tears.
