If you need to run some program, and Windows Defender mistakenly considers it to be malicious, you can turn it off right in the settings. This option is suitable for Windows 10 and 11. It is the easiest, but only temporarily disables protection.
Open the "Start" menu, click "Settings" and go to "Privacy and Security" → "Windows Security" → "Virus and Threat Protection" → "Virus and Threat Protection Settings" → " Manage Settings".
Disable the Real-time Protection option.
For some time, the antivirus will stop responding to your actions, even if you are working with files that it considers potentially malicious . But, as it says in the warning next to the “Real-time Protection” option, then Windows Defender will turn on automatically.
