Satelit merupakan benda yang mengorbit (bergerak mengelilingi pada garis edar) benda lain dengan periode tertentu. Diangka luar terdapat dua jenis satelit yaitu satelit alam dan satelit buatan.   

Satellites are orbiting objects (moving around in a circle) other objects of a certain period. Outside the diangka there are two types of satellites namely natural satellites and artificial satellites.

Satelit alam merupakan satelit yang sudah ada (bukan buatan manusia). Sedangkan satelit buatan adalah satelit yang dibuat oleh manusia dalam rangka keperluan dan kepentingan manusia. Fungsi utama satelit untuk komunikasi jarak jauh, seperti telepon dan internet. Selain itu satelit juga berfungsi sebagai pantauan bumi, untuk kepentingan militer dan ilmu pengetahuan.   

Natural satellites are satellites that already exist (not man-made). While artificial satellites are satellites made by humans in the framework of human needs and interests. Satellite main functions for remote communication, such as telephone and internet. In addition satellites also serve as a monitoring ground, for the interests of the military and science.

Namun baru-baru ini ada yang mempertanyakan kebenaran adanya satelit. Hal ini di sebabkan karena ada jutaan satelit namun tidak ada foto asli bentuk satelit. Foto satelit yang beredar di internet semua palsu, hasil olahan digital teknologi CGI. Selain itu satelit juga tidak terlihat melalui teleskop atau terekam oleh radio teleskop dan juga tidak terdeteksi oleh optical teleskop di bumi.  

But recently there is a question about the truth of the satellite. This is because there are millions of satellites but no original satellite images. Satellite photos circulating on the internet are all fake, digital processed CGI technology. In addition, satellites are also not visible through telescopes or recorded by radio telescopes and also not detected by optical telescopes on earth.

Teleskop merupakan alat untuk melihat benda langit. Namun jutaan satelit yang di klaim mengelilingi bumi tidak ada satupun yang terlihat melalui teleskop atau terekam oleh radio teleskop. Maka dari itu sebagian orang mengatakan satelit hanyalah proyek penipuan ekonomi.   

Telescopes are a tool to see heavenly bodies. Yet millions of satellites claimed to encircle the earth are not seen by telescopes or recorded by telescope radios. Therefore some people say satellite is a project of economic fraud.

Namun kita tidak bisa menyalahkan beberapa perusahaan komunikasi yang mengatakan telah memiliki satelit. Karena mereka tidak bisa membuat satelit, yang bisa membuat satelit tidak lebih dari 6 perusahaan dunia. Diantara Boeing, Hughes, Lockheed Martin dan lain-lain.   

But we can not blame some communications companies who say they already have satellites. Because they can not make satellites, which can make the satellite no more than 6 companies of the world. Between Boeing, Hughes, Lockheed Martin and others.
