Based on machine learning algorithms, it is able to intervene automatically when the AI detects behavior that deviates from normality. Recently, Darktrace has added new modules to Antigena, which is now also able to intervene on cloud applications hosted on AWS and Microsoft Azure), Office365 email and SaaS applications .

Although the new modules of Darktrace Antigena are recently available on the market, some customers have already had the opportunity to experiment them successfully . Darktrace gives the example of a C-Suite attack (aimed at the top executives of an organization) in which the attackers were able to obtain the credentials of a CFO's access. The operation would have gone unnoticed but Antigena has detected two simultaneous connections to Office 365 and SaaS , one from the United States and one from Honk Kong. Noting the suspicious action, the connections were blocked and the attack foiled.
