Innofest 2018 took place with more than 300 retailers, business partners and customers from the Middle East and Africa Region in Cape Town, South Africa. The exhibit aims to enhance the image of LG as an "ultra-premium" product developer and create a high-profit growth by displaying the latest products and breakthrough technologies of the company.
Kevin Cha, president of LG Electronics Middle East and Africa, said: "Today businesses are evolving at a rapid pace than ever before and it is during these testing times, that we adapt and keep up to the changes to be able to prosper and achieve sustainability. Building on our premium products strategy for the region, we remain committed to working and engaging with our various channel partners to ensure LG innovation and technology remains at the forefront of our business strategy to increase profitability and growth in the MEA."
LG focused on exhibiting the premium products that it will put on the market in 2018. Among these products,
- 65-inch OLED smart TV LG W8 with A9 processor, which was also exhibited at CES 2018
- LG TWINWash washing machine with its ability to wash two different laundry groups at the same time
- LG InstaView refrigerator
attracted a lot of attention.
In 2018, LG's new air conditioning solutions with advanced Inverter technology will also play an important role in the company's product portfolio. While traditional air conditioning can only be turned on and off, LG's Inverter technology controls these on/off cycles and manages the cooling more efficiently.
