GOOGLE TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION RISKS
Google two factor authentication(2FA) is the most common security for many apps and sites right now.
The first time we activate 2FA on our account, the app will give us 10 backup codes to login to our account just in case we lose access to 2FA.
We can install and use authenticator app on our phone to make our accounts on sites or apps more safe, but is it really safe?
The answer is, this authenticator thing is not 100% safe.
If we lost our phone or our phone got stolen or anything else that make us can't access our phone anymore, we will lose access to all of our accounts with 2FA enable.
If we still have the backup codes, then it's ok, we can still login.
But what if we lose access to 2FA and backup codes gone?
In that case, we will lose access to our accounts with 2FA enable forever.
So, the main point is make sure to backup your google 2FA backup codes to somewhere else.
