Oculus has gone downhill since it was acquired by facebook, it left a lot of people bitter including the ones who participated in the kickstarter. Vive has comeout as a better VR platform when you compare it with oculus. It has a better community and it is open for all developers. Heck, Oculus tried to buy up a few game creators to develop only on oculus which is considered as a "dick move" in the gaming industry.
