The autonomous flight vehicle Ehang 180, developed by the company Ehang, successfully completed flight tests with one and two passengers on board. Among the first 40 people who enjoyed the benefits of this Chinese drone were some representatives of the manufacturing company, such as its CEO, Huazhi Hu, and officials from the province of Canton.
The drone is fully electric and is equipped with several engines equipped with parallel propellers. It is the first autonomous aerial vehicle able to develop a speed of up to 130 kilometers per hour, with a person on board, and withstand strong winds and adverse weather conditions.
Ehang has also developed and tested a model that can carry two people and a maximum weight of 280 kilos, says a statement published by the company on the PR Newswire portal.
