[EN] HOW TO FORMAT A WRITE-PROTECTED USB

If you have a write-protected usb, you will surely notice that you have a problem formatting it, and also you will not be able to save files in it.

In this tutorial I will explain how to format this or any USB with CDFS Phison format, you can download it in the following Link or in the official website of Phison ElectronicsLink
And well once downloaded, unzip it and execute the file MPALL_F1_7F00_DL20_v503_0B.exe which will open the main window of the program, as shown in image 1

once open, click at the bottom right on setting

Which will open a window where you will select advance setting and press OK.

Now all you have to do is configure in each tab what I show you in each image (I have marked a red box for you and I have listed the order so that you do not make mistakes)

In the IC, FW



tab In the FLASH SETTING tab



In the PARTITION SETTING tab



In the DRIVE INFO



tab In the OTHER SETTING tab



Then we click save and a window will appear and we accept. Then we close the window on the "X" or on cancel.

Which will take us to the main window of the program as we see below.

Now we see our USB, we select where it says No Mapping and we give STAR and we wait for the program to format our USB.

Once formatted, we click CLOSE and remove our USB from the PC and reinsert it.
