Can the human race not be some sort of A.I created by a former "intelligence" that we eventually out smarted. So lets say we created A.I way more intelligent than us and this A.I has the ability to survive the next mass extinction , were as we do not. The next A.I would just continue the cycle. This would mean gods were created by gods.
