You may press the 'space bar' to pause or resume a YouTube video. However, sometimes (when the video is not selected) it might not work and just scroll down the page.
By pressing 'K' you will always be able to pause or resume your video. Also, you can press 'J' to go 10 seconds back and 'L' to go 10 seconds forward.

    Thanks :) , I thought that was weird that YouTube didn't have any on screen buttons for a quick little rewind or forward, it's good to know that there's keyboard shortcuts for it! :)
